Well, I run pretty much everything in my RV with this best below are the results.

I must say the manufacturer should think about dual fuel for uninterrupted running; however, you can carry a few gallons of fuel to spend 4 to 5 days of camping.

Capacity (load test): Brigs & Stratton 30545 comes with a 171 cc 4-stroke OHV powerful engine that can produce 3000 surge and 2600 running watts. I run the following things for confirming its actual capacity since I don’t believe in the manufacturer’s statements.

- RV air conditions of 1500 watts.
- All lights, TVs, etc. 1000 watts.

Well I fired up my 1000 watts microwave, a 1500 watts space heater, and 300 watts small vacuum and this tiny beast didn’t overload, I mean how it is possible to produce almost 500 watts more than its rated capacity?
Besides that much decent capacity this machine offers parallel ports you can get even higher capacity, I bet this unit will never disappoint you in terms of capacity.
Runtime, Fuel options, and fuel tank size: This isn’t a dual fuel generator and sadly it comes with 1.06 gallons of a fuel tank that can last for about 4 – 4.5 hours at 50% load, however with 25% I only manage to get about 5 – 6 hours which is not impressive.
The manufacturer should have to include at least a dual fuel option or bigger tank fuel tank in upcoming models.
Noise levels: I take my noise meter and took some tests from standard 25ft away with no load below are the results.
- With normal mode, I am getting 56 – 57dB on average.
- After turning ON the eco mode I am getting 54 – 56dB on average.
Though I didn’t put the load, still the results were pretty satisfactory.

5. Hudson Motors 3300 – Lightest 3000 Watt Generator

I bought this generator for testing purposes, and the outcomes are mind-blowing, besides its cheap affordable price tag, it offers portability, lots of outlets, decent capacity, and super quiet running. I am using it for a 30amp camper and it works perfectly.
Design and build quality: Built quality looks average, however, the overall design of the unit is pretty compact, and you can easily transport it like a briefcase.
The front contains a control panel, however, the back has a spark arrestor and vents. the right side has a pull starter, however, the left side contains two small compartments one for oil changing and the other for doing necessary maintenance like filter changing, oil changing, etc.

Runtime, fuel tank size, and fuel options: This machine only works with gasoline and I am not happy with its tank size, Hudson only adds 1 gallon of fuel which is strange, I mean they didn’t even think that how can a user spend its longer nights’ uninterruptedly. Well, I have done some runtime tests below are the results.
- With 50% load I got 3.5 – 3.8 Hours, however with 25% load I got 6 – 7 hours of runtime.
- With eco mode, I got slightly better runtime but it can’t help you in winter since we have to operate power-hungry space heaters, etc.
Humble Opinion: Do carry some gallons of fuel, if you are going to spend the whole night.
Safety features: Since this machine produces <3% THD, you will get clean fluctuations-free power, also it comes with low oil and overload lights to ensure the fuel line, carburetor, and other parts of the engine should be safe.
